Rawicz sits at the heart of a producing trend. The neighbouring fields, Zalecze-Wiewierz and Borzęcin, are both in active production under the license of Polish multinational gas trader Orlen. The field’s favourable location provides direct validation for reservoir quality and the availability of reliable regional infrastructure.
The Rawicz licence offers in addition the potential to double the size of the gas reserves through 6 more low-risk Rotliegend ILX prospects, revealed via a 3D seismic survey.
Development Plan:
Two-phased Low-CAPEX With Rapid Path To Production
Phase 1: In progressTwo wells have been completed, and the drilling of a third well is scheduled for September 2026. A connection to the existing Gaz Systems’ low methane gas pipeline is underway, with first gas to be achieved by H2-2028.
Phase 2: From 2028Eight additional wells to be constructed though 2029 to 2031, financed by internal cashflows from gas production by operational wells. Connection and offtake terms for commercial sales are secured.
